Returns and Exchanges
Non-Defective Merchandise
Non-defective merchandise returns must be reported to My Beach Cottage Boutique and returned within 30 days of purchase.  We will give you instructions on how to handle the return.  You can do so by email us.

Merchandise must be in its original, minimum inner pack quantity pack such as (candle 4 in a package or set of 4). 
Merchandise and merchandise packaging must not be defaced and be in its original saleable condition.
There is no refund of the original Shipping and handling fees.
Customers will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee.
Example:          $10.00     Item,
                  20%    minus re-stocking fee
                $8.00       customer refund. 

 

In the event an item is out of stock we will contact you.  You may receive a refund of your money or choose to wait for the item to be restocked.

Shipping and Handling Fees
The majority of our items will come from our California warehouse. 
All orders are shipped via UPS Ground.
In most cases you will receive your order within 7 – 21 business days. 
This is subject to en route conditions (ice storms, hurricanes etc).
Cancelations must be made with-in 24 hours of placing the order.  You can do so by email us.
Orders over $80.00 within the continental United States receive free shipping and handling
Orders of:
$0.01 to $49.99, shipping and handling is $7.50.
$50.00-$74.99 shipping and handling is $9.50.
* Note: Items that incur heavy freight charges will NOT be shipped for free. Our shipping and handling costs are only $4.00 to $10.00 more on these products.
Heavy freight charge will be clearly marked on the item under the product descriptions & displayed in the shopping cart.

To our friends from Canada we are unable to ship orders right now.  We hope we will be able to provide service to you in the future.
All items under $84.99 shipped outside the continental United States (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands Alaska, etc) will be shipped for a fee of $15.00. 
Any orders $85.00 and over will be shipped for only 10% of the total order (example $175.00 order will be shipped for $17.50).  We will help absorb part of your shipping and handling fees.

Merchandise Damaged During Shipping
Merchandise damaged during shipping must be reported to My Beach Cottage Boutique     and returned within 30 days of purchase.   We will give you instructions on how to handle the return.  You can do so by email us. (click here)   (link to contact us page)

If a package is not damaged, but the merchandise is damaged, contact us immediately (within 30 days of purchase) and we will replace the item at no charge.
If there is damage to the box, carefully identify the outward signs of the damage.  This information is needed for reimbursement by the shipper.
